Seamless Dance Floor

This past weekend we debuted our brand new white seamless dance floor! For this beachy themed wedding the dance floor had H2O lights projected to make the dance floor seem like it was under water. It was such a fun event! Congrats to all involved!!

We also had the pleasure of using our plexi glass back bar. This item is a perfect addition to any party as it is so versatile!

This past weekend marked the end of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. We are so proud to be a sponsor!

Lobero Theatre’s Rehearsal Room was transformed into a Moroccan VIP room for Platinum Pass Holders

Onstage of the Lobero Theatre was opened up for post tribute parties.

Film Makers lounge was used all day and then would light up at night for the after party lounge!

Thank you again to everyone at the Film Festival for allowing us to be a part of such a special Santa Barbara Tradition!! We can’t wait until next year!!

Santa Barbara International Film Festival 2013

It’s that time of year again. Santa Barbara has transformed into the host of the amazing Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Thursday evening was the epic opening night party. This year, they based their design off of The Shining. Studio 7 was able to create amazing structures highlighting designs and images from the movie. We always have such a great time doing the lighting, audio, draping and power for this event.

We also had the pleasure of working with UGG Australia and Kim Curtis at Toast Santa Barbara in creating a Moroccan lounge setting inside the Lobero Theatre. We are so happy with the outcome of this cozy setting, where film makers and VIP guests can spend their days working and socializing.

G’Day USA

In honor of Australia Day we would like to post our most recent event with the Australian Tourism Commission. Together with Sequoia Productions we had the pleasure of providing all fabric treatments for the annual G’Day USA Gala. Our new favorite fabric treatment is this gorgeous ivory dupioni silk used as the traveler. This fabric takes light so well and looks amazing on it’s own.

Crystal Chandeliers!

Some of the most popular items in our shop are our beautiful crystal Chandeliers. We have them in several sizes and colors, and clients find countless ways to incorporate them into their weddings and special events. The exquisite image above was from a wedding at Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse last summer. The “Chandy’s” (as we usually call them) were suspended over the reception area and created the most amazing, magical ambiance.

This use of our largest size white crystal Chandeliers creates a indoor-outdoor feel to the reception space. It almost felt like guests were dining in a hall at a European castle while still taking advantage of Santa Barbara’s scenic setting and perfect weather.

Red! An amazing accent to the bar and offset by white fabric drapery (learn more about our custom sewing department). Think of all the fun ways to incorporate these into a stylish and unique ambiance….

Another use of our largest size Chandelier…. the centerpiece! We added uplighting walls and ceiling to accent the drama and color of the fabric treatment. Beautiful.
